Hey! Great video. Liked and subscribed. I got 2 quotes $6000.00 & $8,000.00 to replace my A/C system. Was told the controller was toast. My system will run and cool, only issue is the fan stays on. Possible bad relay on controller? Anyway, I ordered a new control board for $150.00 and will swap it out. If it works, I guess I get to save at least $5,850.00. Thanks for posting this video and breaking down the one by one wire swap.

I just tried this on my Emerson microwave, and it worked right away. It's very strange that a cable like that would ever come loose. I'm wondering if disconnecting and reconnecting the ribbon cable is draining the panel of any residual power that might be causing the fault. Anyway, thanks for the quick fix!

Solution: my ac (independent) breaker was triping after 15min , I removed the breaker , there was a screw behind the switch which adjusted its sensitivity if I unscrew it , it was tripping easily , so I tightened it , then I attached it's all 4 wires in different way , by cleaning the ends and reshaping them just in case , tightened all 4 again , it stoped tripping ! . (turn off all the power supply 1st)

Well done and succinct. Not all videos showed the key element of keeping the valve in the open position. This was the difference between success and failure with prior attempts.

Question, water heater is not elevated from the floor, it's basically flat inside the pan, if the pan get flooded, would it affect the pilot/flame area?

Why didnt you remove the air in your hoses? You're mixing air/moisture with refrigerant. Also - Why are you not measuring how much refrigerant you're recovering? I know the TARE says on the bottle but they're not 100% accurate

Ours was a bad, bad smell. I tried everything and finally found a fix. We emptied the entire fridge (to get the weight out, the wheels will gouge hardwood) pushed it out so we could access the back (compressor area). Took off the back cover (6 or 8 screws, very sharp panel) to expose all the dust. Vac that crap and it fixed our smell in about a day. We now vac the back every 1 1/2 years and no problems since.😉

I hope mine are this easy to replace. I had a guy that was coming out today to do a rub surround, and he told me that the handle for the hot water wouldn't come off... so to not cause a massive leak he'll have to return after I get this taken care of. I'm trying not to have to pay for a plumber to come out to do something I might be able to do myself. I'll assess the situation and then decide if a plumber is needed. Thanks for the great content, direct and to the point. 👍🏻

This was one great tip! I never knew that I could remove the top off of the air gap. I used a piece of 1/4-inch irrigation tubing. I was ready to remove the black hose from under the sink. This was a time-saver. Thank you.
